The Norwich Centre offers counselling, workshops and training courses. Counsellors working at the centre are all qualified to Diploma level, or are in training on a Diploma course.

We offer a number of courses and workshops including counselling training from Introduction to Diploma level and Continuing Professional Development for counsellors.

Vacancies

Administrator

Part-time 14 hours per week. There is a degree of flexibility in when the hours are worked, but the administrator must be able to fit in with the team to ensure cover over the week. This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our well-established organisation. This is a six month fixed term contract.  The role is to provide administrative support for our counselling service and training courses.  With excellent administrative ability, competent IT skills and a sensitive telephone manner you will be part of a professional, friendly and highly motivated team delivering services to our clients and trainees.

Post-qualification Counsellors (Voluntary)

The Norwich Centre is unique in providing an opportunity to work in an internationally renowned agency dedicated to the person-centred approach.  We have a reputation for our professionalism and for the high standard of our work. In return for your time, we can offer you the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and we will provide monthly group supervision plus an allowance towards individual supervision. We aim to provide support during the period after qualifying, when work either paid or unpaid can be hard to find.  The hours and supervision will count towards accreditation, and there may be an opportunity to extend your placement to twyears.
