The Norwich Centre offers counselling, workshops and training courses. Counsellors working at the centre are all qualified to Diploma level, or are in training on a Diploma course.

We offer a number of courses and workshops including counselling training from Introduction to Diploma level and Continuing Professional Development for counsellors.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Part time 21 hours a week £14,250 pro rata (35 hour week)

This is an opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our well-established and growing organisation. This is a permanent post.  providing administrative support for our counselling service and training courses.  With excellent administrative ability, competent IT and data input skills and a sensitive telephone manner you will be part of a professional, friendly and highly motivated team delivering services to our clients and trainees.

Senior Counsellor/Assistant Director

Salary £24,750 p.a. pro rata 

The Norwich Centre has a vacancy for a Senior Counsellor/Assistant Director 21 hours per week.  The contract is initially for one year with the possibility of extension subject to the appropriate funding being available. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced person-centred counsellor/psychotherapist to join our team.  The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

Post-qualification Counsellors (Voluntary)

The Norwich Centre is unique in providing an opportunity to work in an internationally renowned agency dedicated to the person-centred approach.  We have a reputation for our professionalism and for the high standard of our work. In return for your time, we can offer you the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and we will provide monthly group supervision plus an allowance towards individual supervision. We aim to provide support during the period after qualifying, when work either paid or unpaid can be hard to find.  The hours and supervision will count towards accreditation, and there may be an opportunity to extend your placement to twyears.

We currently have a number of vacancies for volunteer counsellors to work with clients of the Norwich Centre charity.
