The Norwich Centre offers counselling, workshops and training courses. Counsellors working at the centre are all qualified to Diploma level, or are in training on a Diploma course.

We offer a number of courses and workshops including counselling training from Introduction to Diploma level and Continuing Professional Development for counsellors.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR 

FULL TIME £18,200 pa 

Established in 1980, the Norwich Centre has an enviable reputation as a provider of counselling and training. This is a new opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our well-established organisation at an exciting time.  You will be highly motivated with a strong commitment to supporting our work in the local community. 

If you are interested in making a difference to those with mental health issues, and have excellent administrative ability, able to meet the demands of running a busy office with a varied workload, you can use these skills to help us to provide a valuable and much needed service to our clients.

BOOK-KEEPER

Part-time 7 hours per fortnight flexible 

£25,000 pro rata 

This is an opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic book-keeper to play a key role in a well-established organisation.  Apply today if you have superb accounts knowledge of computerised systems, and accounts tasks including sales and purchase ledger, reconciliations, VAT and year end accounts.

Post-qualification Counsellors (Voluntary)

The Norwich Centre is unique in providing an opportunity to work in an internationally renowned agency dedicated to the person-centred approach.  We have a reputation for our professionalism and for the high standard of our work. In return for your time, we can offer you the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, and we will provide monthly group supervision plus an allowance towards individual supervision. We aim to provide support during the period after qualifying, when work either paid or unpaid can be hard to find.  The hours and supervision will count towards accreditation, and there may be an opportunity to extend your placement to twyears.

We currently have a number of vacancies for volunteer counsellors to work with clients of the Norwich Centre charity.
